HOW HIGH ARE THE GOCTA WATERFALLS?

The Gocta Falls are a two level waterfall, which means it has two different drops. The first, from the top, is 231 meters (758 feet) high, while the second, 540 meters (1772 feet) high. This adds up to an astonishing 771 meters (2,530 feet) of height . You can visit both the top and the bottom of the waterfall on two different hikes.

WHAT IS THE BEST SEASON TO VISIT?

The rainy season in Chachapoyas is from November to April, having said that, the best of the best seasons to visit is between the end of April until the first weeks of November.

HOW LONG IS THE GONDOLA RIDE UP TO KUELAP?

The Gondola takes 30 minutes to reach the entrance of the Kuelap Fortress Archaeological Site. The views are amazing and panoramic.
